We ended up getting to Diriomo on Wednesday night July 17, exactly one week after we left SLC. We love it here! The Saturday after we got here we went to a wedding and baptism and were even invited to the party afterwards. We had a great time hanging out and getting to know the members. Needless to say, Bella was the most popular girl at the party. I hope she gets used to everyone touching her skin and hair! Everyone loves her here!
Ronaldo and his wife were married and then baptized. This in front of their home. They hosted some of the members after the ceremony.
Bella smelled something bad and was making a big deal about it and plugging her nose. These girls got a kick out of it.
Our landlady Lesbia made this cake for the wedding.
During the party Bella wandered behind the house and found their pet. You can see it off to the right of the picture. She was pretty excited to show me!

These are our Elders, Palacios and Nicolas. They are assigned to Diriomo and there is a separate set of elders that work Diria’ which is about a five minute walk from our house.
